Overnight Accommodation
Five Oaks is a quiet, peaceful setting on 116-acres of Carolinian forested property at the confluence of the Grand River and Whiteman's Creek. Groups and individuals find rest and renewal from a busy and hectic world at our simple and hospitable facilities.

Main Building
The main building has 22 simply-furnished bedrooms with twin sized beds and shared washroom facilities. It can accommodate up to 51 persons, double occupancy. The dining room is also located in the Main Building.
Hermitage
The Hermitage is a wonderful space for a private retreat or couple’s getaway. This cozy self-contained cottage has a bedroom with a double bed, a small living room with a pull-out couch and a kitchenette which you can use if you would like to make your own meals.
Chalet
The Chalet offers close access to a large playing field, wooded area, nature trails and the labyrinth. The Chalet has six large bedrooms with twin sized bunk beds and can accommodate about 30 persons. There is a meeting room with a cozy gas fireplace. A brand new kitchen allows guests the option of preparing and serving groups up to 15 their own meals and snacks.
Friendship House
A cozy stand alone house close to the main building has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, the other three bedrooms have two twin sized beds. The upper level and main meeting area has a walkout to a lovely deck and view of the river through the trees. There is a compact well-appointed kitchen for guests to prepare and serve their own meals and/or snacks if they choose. The lower meeting space has comfortable seating for 8 with a cozy fireplace. This is an ideal facility affording privacy for small overnight groups.

Chaplain's House
A bright and spacious house close the the main building has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can sleep up to 6 people. Three of the bedrooms are upstairs, two of which have a single bed and the third has a 3/4 bed. An additional bedroom on the lower level has a single bed and a set of bunk beds. This house has two meeting spaces and a small dining area. There is also a well-appointed kitchen for guests to prepare and serve their own meals and/or snacks if they choose. This is an ideal facility affording privacy for small overnight groups or groups of up to 20 for day retreats or meetings.
Summer Centre
The Summer Centre (open in the summer and early fall) can
accommodate 65 persons in a
variety of cabins such as the ‘Molly Brant’ and motel units. The Summer Centre Kitchen and adjacent Dining Room offer groups the option of cooking for themselves.
