A C.I.T. is a Counsellor in Training and they range in age from 13-15. Throughout the program you will learn the basics of being a counsellor by participating in activities that teach you how to keep kids safe, include children with special needs, plan age-appropriate activities, and develop behaviour management techniques. C.I.T’s are given opportunities to assist the Summer Day Camp staff by leading games and activities, as well as being able to participate in parts of the afternoon program. 

 

All CITs can apply to be a Junior Leader at Five Oaks Day Camp after successful completion of the program.
