Five Oaks is recruiting a full-time, permanent Business and Hospitality Administrator. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this person shall:
Generate new business for the retreat centre
Implement marketing strategies
Relate with guests, coordinate guest requests and contracts, with a keen eye to continually improve guest experiences
Supervise kitchen and housekeeping teams
Perform administrative duties such as collect statistics and prepare presentations and reports
Provide leadership to the Joint Health and Safety Committee
Oversee the IT systems
Contribute to the spiritual life of the organization
Act as the on-call staff person during after hours and weekends and respond
Qualifications include:University degree or college diploma
Experience managing in the non-profit sector
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role including staff supervisory and performing business functions
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Comfortable working within the ethos of The United Church of Canada
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to offer a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends
A valid police check is required
